Professional Experience in Human Resources

From 1991 till now he has been actively involved in Human Resources, initially as a specialist and, from 1993 onward, in roles such as HR Manager, HR Director, and Group HR Director (Mark/BBDO, Passerinvest Group, Siebe Automotive/Invensys, MEF Holding, TV NOVA, Black & Decker, Teleflex, Orco Property Group, Merisant – Whole Earth Brands etc.).

Since 2005, he has also worked as an interim HR Manager, headhunter, external consultant, and crisis manager (Valeo Compresors, DHL, ABL, LOSTR/Legios, Witte Automotive, ESA Logistics, ACO, ZETOR Brno, Pojišťovna ČS, Veolia, Zentiva SK, Jungheinrich, Wieland Electric, Tenneco/Monroe, etc.). As a consultant, he successfully completed over 40 personnel and process audits and over 80 Assessment or Development Centers in these and other companies.

Other Personal Experience

He has long-term collaborations with top athletes from the Czech Republic, Denmark, and the USA. Between 1989 and now, as a sports psychologist, he contributed to winning 81 medals at the Olympics, World Championships, and European Championships in various sports (gymnastics, diving, parachuting, sport climbing, sport aerobics, shooting, bodybuilding, athletics, aerobatics, ski jumping, skiing, canoeing, fencing, tennis, etc.). He applies his experience from elite sports to business consulting, coaching top managers, and interim management (improving human performance through psychological feedback, Performance Management, and Talent Management Processes).

Education

He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport and the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague. He completed his doctoral studies in psychology in 1992, defending his dissertation on "Neuropsychological Correlates of Will and Volitional Effort in Sports" at the University of Warwick, UK.

Hobbies

His greatest hobby is sports. He needs physical activity to thrive and is particularly passionate about outdoor activities – skiing, cycling, water sports, and especially hiking and mountain climbing. Between 1982 and 1988, he was a member of the broader national climbing team, and from 1989 to 1993, he worked as a national coach for the Czechoslovak/Czech sport climbing team.

Another major hobby is his children, and reading (professional literature - and detective stories).
